Blogging off

It's been a fun ride, but I'm retiring Sinistra. I don't have that much to say, my life isn't that interesting (to other people, that is), I don't have much to contribute to the political discourse of the blogosphere, and I don't like the nagging feeling that I should be saying something, no matter how inane it might seem.

If this site ever comes back, it will be in a different form, preferably amorphous, with more tentacles.

You may continue to send me email at the usual places, and I promise to reply. Happy trails. I'll try not to club any baby seals on the way out.

Nooooo... I mean it's not like I am blogging anything interesting... wait..maybe you are right...nah...

Anyways, hope maybe you jump back on the "cyclical and yet somewhat fun, waste of time here"

I have had the same doubts and thoughts about my blog - only to discover there are people (namely friends and some acquaintances) that are in fact interested in my life, or better, life (in general) in Munich (!!!) - maybe rather than telling your life, you could describe "life" in SJC area - even everyday things that you might think are normal or uninteresting, but in fact for people from other parts of the world are not, or maybe just seeing that it is exactly the same: and that could be already interesting by itself.
But if you want really to stop - I do understand. And if you come back - well, welcome back!

it's interesting...blogging about blogging.

Yeah i had the similar conclusions as Pakitt, and something sealed the deal.: I had a friend of 10 years prior whom I lost touch with, find me again due to blog. So that sorta did it for me. I will keep it though it be inane.

So I say "Bring on the inane posts, your tired huddled trite responses.."

"It's a phase". :-)

Seriously, I'm sure the pen and ink will be picked up again. Look at how... infrequent... my own postings are!

In the meantime, we'll just have to discuss inane political discussions in person. Btw, I have training in January... :-)

Just keep at the fiction writing, I won't complain.

Happy new year!
