Cellphones killing honeybees?

An intriquing new theory out of Germany suggests that cellphones (mobiles for those of you not in North America) cause honeybees to get disoriented and lose their way home. The theory is promising, and may be part of the problem, but I don't think it's the cause. Cellphone technology isn't all that new, at least two decades old, and CCD (colony collapse disorder) is occurring on a widespread scale, and relatively recently. Though there is correlation with the rise of cellphones and the prevalence of CCD. My theory: I suspect that it's a combination of factors. Pesticides, mites and hive beetles weaken the colony, while cellphones compound the problem by making it hard for healthy workers to return to the hive.
